Hello friends! A lot of “;kid's”; stores out there are just a little too cutesy for my taste, if you know what I mean. That is why I love Land of Nod so much. It's full of more modern decor that is loved by parents and kids! I recently fell in love with this customizable art work from Land of Nod.

Isn't that cute?! But it's pretty pricey at $189. So, I decided to use the Land of Nod print as inspiration for my own DIY version. Yep, you can make your own geometric DIY monogram art easily at home FOR FREE! Watch the video below for step-by-step instructions.

That's it! Print it off and pop it in a frame {I already had a frame, but you can snap one up on Amazon for around $11, like this one}. How easy is that? Here is the finished result. Isn't it cute?! And I saved $189 making it myself :)

If you love this project, you will LOVE some of my other DIY art projects. Here are some of my favorites :)

I’ve been playing with making simple folded Danish stars (sometimes called a German or Froebel star) from fabric to decorate for the holidays. While there’s a few methods you can use to create these folded stars (some methods include an extra step to create more points in the middle), I found that using sewn strips with this method reduced some of the bulk and creates nice, crisp corners. There’s just one straight line seam in these stars, the rest is all folding!

This week we're going to look at using pastels and the wonderful effects that can be created using?these softer and more natural tones within your home. Interior designers often run up against the problem of rooms that look and feel cramped and?crowded.
