One of the best parts of summer as a kid was watching 4th of July fireworks. Rather than wade through the long lines in our community park, we were lucky enough to have a great view between two trees at the end of my Dad’;s street back home. It was so much fun being silly and pulling our chairs out into the street, snacks in hand, and watching the fireworks. It seemed like the unofficial half-way point of summer.
